Dear Potential Fuzzy Faces Client

My wife and I have a one-year old bearded collie girl named Scout.  Beardies are very active, bouncy dogs so we decided this past summer that Scout needed and would benefit from a doggy daycare. On the advice of our vet we started bringing Scout to Fuzzy Faces in August for daycare and, occasionally, for boarding. We, and Scout, are extremely happy with Fuzzy Faces. Scout has loads and loads of fun at Fuzzy Faces, is happy to arrive everyday to play with her friends, and is dead tired at the end of the day.

We have nothing but good things to say about Elisa. She is very kind to and has great compassion for the dogs under her care. She makes extra effort for the dogs and her clients; things like trips to the vet for medication, extra feedings, and daily updates for her clients. Elisa has been very good with helping us to solve a problem that Scout had with anxiety.

An important positive about Fuzzy Faces is that it is a much-more home-like atmosphere than other daycare facilities and kennels. In another doggy daycare, where there are dozens of dogs, Scout, being sound-sensitive, was not at all happy. She is happy at Fuzzy Faces. Scout has boarded several times at Fuzzy Faces while my wife and I have been on trips. We are much more comfortable leaving or dog with Elisa and her husband, Warren, than we have ever been leaving any of our other dogs at a standard boarding kennel. At a kennel, Scout would not get to run for long periods of time or sit in someone’s lap watching television!

Without any hesitation or reservation my wife and I recommend Fuzzy Faces for daycare, boarding and any other services offered.

Sincerely,
Gail and Iain (and Scout)

Meg
January 25, 2006

We have three fur babies: two cats, Mandy and Timmy, and our newest addition, a Golden Retriever named Meg. Mandy, the Persian, must have medicine twice a day for a serious eye condition; Timmy is terrified of strangers; and Meg, now 18 months old, is full of energy and needs constant care and companionship.

We are extremely particular about their care, and because of their individual needs, it was important to us to find someone special who would care for them as we do when we have to be away. We have found those special people in Elisa and Warren. We have taken several vacations and all of the babies have been well-cared for and happy when we return.

Meg also goes to daycare at Fuzzy Faces four days a week and absolutely loves it. She bounds out of the car every day to see Elisa and her daycare pals. I’m sure Mandy, Timmy, and Meg join me in saying we’re all so glad we found Fuzzy Faces! (P.S. Timmy's too shy to pose for a picture.)

April 2005

Ollie is no stranger to day camp, but his previous experience doesn’t even compare to the fun he has at Fuzzy Faces.

Since February 2005, Ollie knows where his morning ride is going to take him.  His cries of anticipation and joy crescendo as we near the house.  Upon arrival – especially if he sees his buddy Jake – Ollie’s excitement can no longer be contained.

I’m impressed by the quality of service and totally appreciate the smaller community of dogs per handler.  Watching the dogs at play, or even waiting to be picked up, you can see that they get the attention and care that spending a workday in the crate will never provide.

Thank you Elisa and Warren for making Ollie’s weeks.

Jake
March 2005

Jake joined our family at 3 months old.  My husband and I work in the DC Metro/Northern VA area but live in Columbia, MD and it was difficult at times for us to spend time with Jake and housebreak him. Thank goodness we found Fuzzy Faces doggy daycare. Elisa and Warren are very knowledgeable and loving “nannies” for little Jake.

Jake started doggie daycare at 4 months old and has been going ever since. He is a playful and overactive boy and looks forward to doggie daycare every week.  It’s nice to know he is getting the exercise, attention, and socialization he needs.  We can tell he is much happier now (along with being house broken and crate trained!) his ears perk up and tail wags every time he hears the words, “Jake, ready to go to doggy daycare??”

Sincerely,
Trang & Dave Chumbley

To Whom it May Concern -

We highly recommend Elisa's tender care at Fuzzy Faces Day Care. Our Dachshund puppy, Crissie, was a loving, but frightened, little pup when we first met Elisa: encounters with other people and dogs were quite stressful for our little kid. But, with Elisa's special attention and lots of playtime with Elisa's Papillons, Crissie now looks forward to her days at Fuzzy Faces - her "home away from home." We can attest to fact that Elisa is great with her canine clients, but especially with the smaller ones like our Crissie.

We have been using Fuzzy Faces for about two years. We have tried several other services over the years and our dogs always communicate how their stay went upon our return. With Fuzzy Faces our two Great Pyrenees always hate to leave and are always eager to return. They simply love the attention, space and friends they make on their sleepovers.

We know they are well taken care of while we are away.

Sincerely,

Monet & Claude Zukowski

To Prospective Clients,

My Maltese, Isabel, has been attending Fuzzy Faces daycare since March 2004. She was 8 months old at the time. She goes 3 days a week.

I am very pleased with the care and atmosphere at Fuzzy Faces. More importantly, Isabel is always eager to go. It is very comforting to know that she is playing with other dogs during the day, instead of spending the days alone.

Elisa and Warren are very knowledgeable and gentle with all the animals in their care.

Dear Elisa and Warren,

I want to thank you for the wonderful job you are doing with my Papillons, Genie and Cami. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that I found your facility. My “babies” absolutely love coming to daycare each week. It’s comforting to know that they are in such capable hands. I can go to work knowing that they will be with their friends, running, playing and having a good time.

My Genie started out as a very timid dog and I had no idea how to help her overcome her anxiety. Since she began coming to daycare, she is no longer the shy dog she used to be. Little Cami doesn’t even know she’s a “special” pup with a physical disability. Your care and patience has helped to bring out the best in them. At Fuzzy Faces, they are part of the gang - a fantastic confidence builder for both dogs.

I also want to thank you for the wonderful boarding care you provide when I am out of town. Your facility has become a second home to them, where they are treated as if they were truly your own pets. Genie and Cami couldn’t possibly be in a better place than Fuzzy Faces. It’s so obvious that you love your animals (and mine) very much. Keep up the good work!

Please let your potential clients know that I would highly recommend your services (both daycare and boarding) and am more than happy to be a reference, if you need one.

Sincerely,
Mary Souder (and Genie and Cami too!)
